Travis Kelce has revealed how his father Ed is often misled by social media speculation about his relationship with Taylor Swift.
The Chiefs star was recently in London to support his pop star girlfriend during the latest leg of her Eras Tour, and even danced with her on stage at Wembley over the weekend.
But it turns out that Ed Kelce regularly worries that the romance is in danger after reading rumors on Facebook.
His youngest son, Travis, recently appeared in the Bussin’ with the boys podcast and revealed how he has to reassure his father about their relationship.
‘Do you know what he will do? You’ll see someone wild come up and say, ‘What the fuck is this?'” Kelce said.
Travis Kelce’s father, Ed, often gets taken in by social media speculation about him and Taylor Swift.
“I told him, ‘Dad, get off Facebook. “Are you kidding?” the Chiefs tight end said.
“It will be something so fucking unexpected, something about Taylor and me. (He will ask) “Hey, are you guys okay?”
“I said, ‘Dad, get off Facebook, are you kidding me?’ That’s their search engine.”
The couple’s romance took over the NFL last season as Swift followed Kelce’s quest for a second straight Super Bowl.
And the Chiefs tight end opened up about the pressures of keeping such a high-profile relationship under control.
‘You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything. That’s my girl, you know what I mean? She that’s my lady, so she’s like…I’m proud of that,” Kelce added.
‘I’m not sitting here trying to juggle like, “How can I keep this a secret?” You just don’t want to let everyone into your personal life and comment on it, knowing that everything she does makes the headlines.’
