Travis Kelce has revealed the story of his viral trip with Taylor Swift to the US Open, revealing all about his “embarrassing” dance and what he was actually watching on his phone.
The superstar pair went viral on Sunday as they watched the men’s singles final from courtside in New York, dancing to the music between sets.
Many claimed they were “doing too much” and criticized their antics during the game, while others enjoyed their loving display, but now Kelce himself has spoken out for the first time.
Firstly, referencing her outfit and revealing the theme, she said on New Heights: “I went to the country club… it was tennis, what do you want me to do? It was tennis!”
She then told listeners what the day had been like, revealing: “It was a completely different world. I looked to my left and right and every time I did, I saw a familiar face. There were so many people there to watch the action, especially the final game knowing there was an American in the US Open.

Travis described its appearance as ‘country club’-like as he opened up about the experience for the first time.
‘It’s very quiet, and you know us… when it’s quiet we want to do or say something. I’ve never been a quiet person, I’ve always been the kid who sits back in the class when it’s quiet, saying something clever or funny, or trying to get on someone’s nerves.
‘All the time I wanted to make fun of Italian Sinner, the number one player in the world, and really try to get into his head and help my boy Fritzy, give him a home-field advantage here in the States, but I did it calmly, I did it with respect, knowing that that is frowned upon.
“I’m sure if I had started calling him names like the guy from Happy Gilmore – ‘stupid idiot’ – I would have been asked to leave pretty quickly.”
Despite his wishes, Kelce insisted he “dressed and acted the part” throughout the game, except for halftime, when he said, “That was the only time I really showed my personality!”
Kelce had his phone propped up against his drink and has now revealed what he had on it.
While watching the tennis, fans noticed that Kelce’s attention may not have been entirely on the court, with the NFL star looking down at his phone, which was propped up against his drink.
Many speculated that he was watching the first Sunday of the NFL season, and the Kansas City Chiefs star has now confirmed that he was unable to avoid the ball.
“Jason, when you get something like Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV, you can watch any game you want… in fact, you can watch four games at once,” he joked. “It was perfect… it was the first damn Sunday of the NFL season!”
“It was the pinnacle moment for any NFL fan and I’ve always been a fan first and foremost, man. The volume was down… I wasn’t listening with the volume up.
