As Travis Kelce planned the return of his music festival, Kelce Jam, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said he learned “not to try to be Taylor” after spending the past few months in a whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift.
Kelce attended several shows on ‘The Eras Tour’, which has been Swift’s record-breaking world stadium tour.
Swift has performed shows in Argentina, Singapore and Australia that Kelce attended.
“Don’t try to be Taylor, that’s what I learned,” Kelce said. ‘Yes, she is in another stratosphere. She is the best at what she does for a reason. It’s because she is very eloquent and very focused on everything she does.
And that’s the beauty of this. It would be silly if she ever tried to get anything out of what she does, other than just enjoying the people who show up. Swift has been performing on her world tour for more than a year before ending in December.
Travis Kelce joked that he won’t try to emulate Swift in planning his music festival, Kelce Jam.
Swift also had a big presence in Kelce’s game this season.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner attended 13 Chiefs games this season, and the team went 10-3 in those games.
Swift was present for all four of the Chiefs’ playoff victories, all of them held in different cities.
Lil Wayne, Diplo and 2 Chainz are the headliners for the second annual Kelce Jam.
Swift doesn’t have any shows on the ‘Eras Tour’ on May 18, but will perform in Portugal on May 24 and 25.
