In a rare moment of discontent for his good friend, Travis Kelce showed clear frustration with Patrick Mahomes after a missed throw and catch against the Carolina Panthers.
The Kansas City Chiefs were in for a much tougher battle than expected with the Panthers, who had one of the league’s worst records entering the game.
On a typical route where Kelce stopped about ten yards downfield, Mahome’s throw to his open tight was a bit off target, but not an impossible catch.
The ball hit Kelce in the hands, but he couldn’t hold onto it to complete the catch.
As soon as the ball hits the turf, Kelce turns and looks at Mahomes in frustration as he extends his arms along the path of the pass.
Kelce remained frustrated as he got closer to the group and shouted an expletive about the situation on camera.

Mahomes and Kelce ultimately ended up on the same page when the Chiefs defeated the Panthers
Kelce and Mahomes eventually ended up on the same, usual page, as the tight end finished the 30-27 win over the Panthers with the most receptions over the Chiefs, 6.
Mahomes threw 27 completions on 37 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns.
Without Taylor Swift present for the second straight week, the Chiefs were able to get back into the win column and maintain the NFL’s best record at 10-1.
Kelce finished the game with 62 yards, trailing only former tight end Noah Gray, who had 66 yards and two touchdowns on the day.
The Chiefs secured the victory on a Mahomes 33-yard run and a Spencer Shrader field goal as time expired.
