Travis Kelce has been officially confirmed as host of the new Amazon Prime show ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’.

The Kansas City Chiefs star and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend will headline 20 episodes of the new show, a spinoff of ‘Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?’ – as he continues to expand his growing portfolio of work outside of football.

“I grew up loving game shows and I’m excited to follow in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my first one with ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?'” Kelce said.

‘The original show is a huge hit, so bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen will definitely be entertaining.

“I’m happy to be here on the host side of the equation and excited to see how these famous faces keep up.”

Travis Kelce has been officially confirmed as the host of ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’

The Super Bowl winner and her girlfriend Taylor Swift were photographed at Coachella last week.

Adding a game show to his workload comes with Travis juggling being a successful podcaster alongside his NFL career.

In the format, contestants will attempt to answer 11 questions at the elementary school level. They will be able to enlist the help of a celebrity classroom.

If contestants get to the final question and answer correctly, they will take home $100,000.

Kelce is currently enjoying some downtime after winning a third Super Bowl title with the Chiefs in Las Vegas in February.

Since then, he’s been in Australia and Singapore to support Swift on that leg of her Eras Tour before hanging out with the pop star in Los Angeles.

The couple was at Coachella last weekend. They saw Taylor’s friend Jack Antonoff’s band, Bleachers, perform at the festival on Saturday and They were also seen attending the celebrity-packed Neon Carnival party.

Was Swift’s first time attending the music festival since 2016, while Kelce was spotted at the event in 2022 and 2023 with some of her friends.

Travis will reveal all about his trip to Coachella on the latest episode of New Heights on Wednesday morning.

It promises to be a jam-packed edition for their many fans as they also reflect on performing a live show in Cincinnati on Thursday night.

Kelce, 34, was criticized for drinking a beer on stage at the end of the event, while the University of Cincinnati presented him with his diploma.

This prompted a defensive tweet from his older brother Jason on Saturday, saying: “I know it looks like a graduation from the video, but this was actually at the end of a New Heights Live podcast we did to raise money for the University’s NIL “. .

“The university did this to make fun of my brother and me for never getting our diplomas.”

For Swift, meanwhile, there’s a big week ahead as her highly anticipated new album, The Tortured Poets Department, is released on Friday.
