Travis Kelce has arrived at Arrowhead Stadium ahead of the Chiefs' first playoff game

Travis Kelce has arrived at Arrowhead Stadium ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ first playoff game of the season against the Houston Texans.

The Chiefs’ bid for a historic Super Bowl three-peat begins Saturday afternoon, and Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift will be in attendance.

The singer was photographed exclusively by DailyMail.com as she left her New York apartment earlier on Saturday and headed to an airport to fly to Kansas City.

Kelce arrived at the defending champion’s home wearing a light pink cardigan over a white T-shirt and baggy jeans.

He also completed the outfit with a multi-colored hat and pink shoes to match his jacket.

In what will be a complete family affair, Kelce’s brother Jason is also involved in the match in his role as a broadcaster for ESPN.

The game against the Texans will be Kelce’s first since the Christmas Day victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, which secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Chiefs starters like Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones were rested in Week 18 against the Denver Broncos before their bye in the wild-card round, meaning they should be well rested.

With Kansas City on the verge of doing something no one has ever done before, they could be forgiven for setting their sights on that goal.

But Kelce dismissed any notion they were worried and said the team is focused on the task immediately ahead.

“I haven’t heard anyone talk about three-peat or anything like that,” Kelce told Chris Berman in a sit-down interview with ESPN.

“We are now focusing on the Houston Texans. Anyone can get beat in the playoffs if you don’t come in with the right mindset and attitude.”

While Kansas City is certainly on the cusp of a three-game winning streak (15-2 in the regular season and home field advantage through the playoffs), history is not on their side.

Of the eight previous teams to attempt a three-peat (Pittsburgh had two attempts), no back-to-back champion has even reached a third straight Super Bowl — let alone actually won the Big Game .

Speculation is rife that Kelce will retire after this season, meaning the game against the Texans could be his last if the Chiefs lose.

The 35-year-old has had a dip in production this season, leading many to wonder if he would consider hanging up the boots after the 2024 season comes to an end.

Speaking on ESPN’s First Take, former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky believes the possibility of Kelce finishing his career after a third title is “very real.”

“Kelce is fully capable of making a difference. I think he has one great run left,” Orlovsky said.

“I think if he goes and delivers that vintage Kelce performance, which I completely, one, think he’s capable of, and two, will do, and they go ahead and three-peat, I think retirement will be a very becomes a real thing for Travis Kelce.

‘There would be nothing else to achieve. He might be the greatest tight end of all time. He would be the tight end who was part of (Chiefs) only three-peat in NFL history.

“He’s obviously later in his career. I don’t think there would be anything left. And I think he has one: elite, amazing, difference-maker, vintage, ‘Oh my God, he did it again’ left in him.”

Kelce has been addressing the retirement rumors all week as he heads out on a media tour before KC opens their playoffs against the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional round this weekend.

“I love everything I do … but at the end of the day, I don’t have that extreme success on the field,” Kelce said on “The Stephen A. Smith Show.” ‘I’m looking forward to the next few games… to close out this season.

“I’ll reevaluate it like I always do, (and) I’ll probably tell myself how much I love this thing, and I’ll come back next year.”

Kelce also says he only felt completely supported by his pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

“She totally encourages me to enjoy playing this game,” Kelce told Smith, adding, “I have had all the support in the world to continue chasing these dreams.”

Kelce got off to a slow start to the campaign and finished with one of his lowest production seasons of his career.

The 823 receiving yards he put up and the three touchdown catches he had were both the fewest he has had since his rookie campaign.

It was this rough start that led many NFL analysts to suggest the 35-year-old might be better off calling it a career after this season.

Other analysts blamed Kelce for the offseason partying, suggesting the tight end’s jet-setting lifestyle was responsible for his slump.

But Kelce is known for his playoff success and has a chance to erase the narrative early in the season when the Chiefs host Houston on Saturday.
