Travis Kelce has confirmed that his new TV show ‘Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?’ will launch on October 16.
The Kansas City Chiefs star gave fans a first look at his new show, a spin-off of ‘Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?’ in a social media announcement Thursday.
The show, filmed in Los Angeles during the football offseason, will stream on Amazon Prime and the Oct. 16 start date coincides with Kelce’s NFL bye week with the Chiefs.
The premiere week begins with the release of three episodes, and then a new episode will air each week. The series will feature 20 episodes in total, all hosted by the three-time Super Bowl winner.
Speaking about the show in April, Kelce said: ‘I grew up loving game shows and I’m excited to follow in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my first show with Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?

‘The original show is a huge hit, so bringing a new format with everyone’s favourite celebrities to the screen will definitely be entertaining.
“I’m happy to be the host and I’m excited to see how these famous faces keep up.”
A host of stars have participated in the first series of Kelce’s new show, including comedians Nikki Glaser, Natasha Leggero, Nicole Byer and Ron Funches, NFL analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick and former NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco.
Meanwhile, Kelce is gearing up for the start of the new NFL season: the Kansas City Chiefs are less than a month away from kicking off their new campaign with a huge matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 5 at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs tight end is currently in training camp while his girlfriend Taylor Swift is on tour in Europe. Their shows in Austria this week were canceled after police foiled a planned terrorist attack.
Kelce and the Chiefs are lining up a historic shot at an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat this season and his girlfriend Swift is expected to cheer him on from the stands as much as possible.
It was reported earlier this week that Kelce has even upgraded his kitchen at his $6 million Kansas City mansion in preparation for Swift, an avid cook, to spend more time there in the coming months.
