Travis Fimmel looked a long way from his days as a Calvin Klein model as he stepped out to attend the world premiere of HBO’s Dune: Prophecy in New York on Wednesday.
The 45-year-old Australian actor showed off a different new look while walking the red carpet.
Looking dapper in a gray suit, the Vikings star’s outfit was complemented by his shaggy gray beard and a longer goatee that highlighted his rugged features.
His hair looked a little unkempt and he paired his sophisticated suit with a navy blue button-down shirt.
Travis is the male lead of the Dun prequel series and plays Desmond Hart alongside actress Emily Watson.
The new look is very different from her stylish modeling ads.
Travis was the Australian hunk who once heated up billboards and magazines with his sexy underwear ads in 2002.
The Victoria-born star made a name for himself in 2002 as the first male model to land a six-figure contract to pose exclusively for Calvin Klein for one year.

Travis appeared on dozens of billboards in Los Angeles, causing traffic jams in the area due to the obscene nature of his images.
The character Jerry ‘Smith’ Jarrod from Sex and the City is said to have been inspired by Travis, who also appeared on spreads and covers of magazines such as W.
Since then, Travis has turned his attention to acting.
His first appearance in the world of acting was in 2003, after landing the lead role in the Warner Bros. series Tarzan.

However, it wasn’t until 2013 when Travis really hit the big time, landing the iconic role of Ragnar Lothbrok in the hit TV series Vikings, which aired from 2013 to 2017.
He then appeared as Anduin Lothar in Warcraft (2016) and starred in the science fiction series Raised by Wolves (2020).
In 2023, he appeared in two Stan Original series: Black Snow and Caught.
He recently returned to the spotlight when he played the role of drug dealer Lyle Orlik on the hit Netflix show Boy Swallows Universe.
While Travis is based in Los Angeles, he spends a lot of time in Australia and even recently on his own Australian beer brand, Travla, with MasterChef judge Andy Allen.
His latest project Boy Swallows Universe has garnered rave reviews from the public.
Adapted from Trent Dalton’s iconic novel, Boy Swallows Universe is an extraordinary story that explores the trials and tribulations of two brothers, Eli and Gus, growing up in the 1980s Brisbane suburbs.
The series premiered in its entirety on January 11, and many Netflix subscribers have already binged the seven-plus hours, hailing the show as “beautiful and brilliant.”
Staying true to its Australian roots, the series stars a cast of top-notch Australian actors, including Phoebe Tonkin as Frances Bell, Eli’s mother.
