Blink-182 are still on the final leg of their One More Time Tour which began three weeks earlier.
During a brief break in Travis Barker’s inaugural race Travis Run: A Running and Wellness Experience On Saturday in Los Angeles, the band’s drummer confessed how proud he is to have his son Landon Barker with him on the tour as one of the guest artists.
“He’s been home rehearsing the last few days and I got to see him,” the Barker Wellness founder, 48, said of his son Landon, 20, who fronts his own band as a singer.
“I’ve been helping him with music, while I’m at home, here and there,” the musician and producer added, before boasting: “So yeah, I’m really proud of him.”
Landon has been playing hard in rehearsals with his bandmates ahead of their first show supporting Blink-182 on Thursday, July 11 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

After a day off following the Run Travis Run 5K event, Blink-182 will perform two first shows when it resumes its tour, first in Fresno, California, on Monday, and then in San Francisco on Tuesday, which are July 8 and 9.
The next show, on Thursday, July 11, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, will be when Landon Barker and his band will take the stage as one of the opening acts for his father’s successful three-piece band.
While this leg of the 2024 tour continues into the fall, Landon will be playing a handful of shows, which at times also include Pierce The Veil, Alexisonfire, Astronoid, Drain, EKKSTACY, jxdn, Live Without, and Hot Milk.
In May, during an appearance on the podcast, The Allison Hagendorf ShowThe host asked what it’s like to work and create alongside your father.
“Writing with my dad has been a lot of fun,” Landon revealed, before joking that it sometimes feels like “take your kid to work day.”
He continued: “When we work together, I love hearing his ideas. When I hear him say something, I wonder how it will sound, but he’s always right. He’s always right.”
When asked if his father sugarcoats his words, the Over You singer was quick to debunk that notion and shared that he likes it better when his dad is more direct.
“No, he’ll say, ‘I don’t like that, which I love and which I need,'” the Los Angeles native admitted.
The Blink-182 drummer praised his son as his band’s opening act during their inaugural Run Travis Run event, which included a 5K race in Los Angeles on Saturday, which he attended with wife Kourtney Kardashian.
“I’ve been helping him with music, while I’m at home, here and there,” the musician and producer said of his son Landon, before boasting, “So yeah, I’m really proud of him.”
Landon released his debut single Friends With Your Ex last September.
Landon, who is a model and social media influencer with more than 2.1 million fans and followers on Instagram, said he’s scared of having too many yes-men around him.
“No matter who you are in music, I feel like it’s really easy to have a lot of people around you who are like, ‘That’s cool,'” she said during the conversation with Hagendorf.
He went on to explain that he prefers people to offer him constructive criticism.
Landon can sometimes be seen hanging out with his father and his wife Kourtney Kardashian; they are all pictured at the 2022 GQ Men of the Year party.
The All The Small Things star is proud to be a hands-on dad to Landon; father and son are seen at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards in January 2010, when the budding musician was six years old.

Travis Barker founded Run Travis Run, which will also take place in Queens, New York on Sunday, July 21, as part of his ongoing goal to “get people outside” and move their bodies through activities like exercise and running.
“I don’t want it to be discouraging,” the rocker told People ahead of the Los Angeles event, which was also attended by his wife Kourtney Kardashian.
Blink-182, which once again features the classic lineup of Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge, has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide during a career as a band that began in 1992.
