Excited travelers have discovered a little-known destination in Europe that looks just like a Balinese paradise.
The coastal Albanian village of Dermi has been dubbed the “hidden pearl of Europe”.
While many European sight-seeing flock to the tourist-packed beaches of Greece and Italy, others instead book a trip to the gorgeous city hailed as one of the continent’s best-kept secrets.
Adventurers head to the dreamy Bali-like hidden gem for its “crystal” beaches, breathtaking landscapes and luxury bars, hotels and restaurants.
Travel bloggers Scott and Sal, from the UK, wowed thousands after they documented their stay in Dhermi which they describe as ‘underrated’ and ‘European Bali’.

While many travelers flock to the tourist-strewn beaches of Greece and Italy, others head to Dhërmi, Albania, and say it’s like a Balinese paradise.
Adventurers head to the hidden gem of Bali for its ‘crystal clear’ beaches, stunning scenery and luxury bars, hotels and restaurants.
Located just over three hours’ drive south of Albania’s capital, Tirana, Dhërmi has five kilometers of stunning coastline dotted with fantastic beach clubs and resorts.
It consists of two parts: the upper half, where the quaint old town is located, while the lower half is where the beach, restaurants, and accommodations are.
With the temperatures starting to drop in Australia, Albania is now entering the summer months which makes it a perfect getaway from the winter cold.

The couple stayed at La Brisa Boutique Hotel, which features stunning sunset views, rooms from $145 per night, and a private beach.
