A convicted sexual plague faces a long prison sentence after being caught dressing up women in the street – dressing like an old lady.

Paul Reed hid his face with a woolly scarf and pretended to be a vulnerable retiree to attract the attention of his victims – which he wanted to touch because it comforted him & # 39;

He was previously imprisoned for three years for sex crimes, but is imprisoned again for violating a ban that prevented him from touching and even speaking to women.

The 57-year-old from Chatham, Kent, dressed as the opposite sex since he was eleven years old, but often used the disguise to lure passing women.

He admitted 11 crimes, including two sexual attacks in November and December when he appeared in court this week.

Maidstone Crown Court was also told that he had violated nine times the measure to prevent sexual damage that was imposed on him after being released from prison in 2012.

The order prevented Reed from covering his face or approaching, contacting or communicating with women.

After his release in 2012, Canterbury Crown Court imposed the measure to prevent sexual damage on Reed in an attempt to prevent him from violating him again.

It was revealed during the hearing that Reed would be on public outside areas and a cold would occur to attract women's attention.

On one occasion he rubbed his hands together and pretended to be cold while talking about the weather with a nurse.

He then connected the arms and crawled towards her – an act that made the victim feel "very uncomfortable", the court heard earlier.

Reed was spotted the same day as an old lady and talked to groups of young girls at Maidstone train station and Maidstone hospital.

The court then heard that Reed was a transvestite and only approached women in such a way because he wanted to be comforted – rather than sexual satisfaction.

Previous lawyer Kerry Moore said: & # 39; Mr. Reed has had an element of travesty since childhood, his first memory was when he was eleven.

& # 39; He wants to wear women's clothes.

& # 39; He now accepts that he is a transvestite and considers women to be the softer sex.

& # 39; As a child, he was bullied and was not considered a man because of his status.

& # 39; He does this because he seeks comfort instead of sexual satisfaction. & # 39;

This week, Reed admitted eleven crimes, including two sexual assaults in November and December and nine violations of the preventive order for sexual damage.

But the 57-year-old denied two other sexual assaults in January and March – which the Public Prosecution Service will not prosecute.

Reed was in pre-trial detention until his sentence next month.
