A transgender predator has been convicted of raping a friend with ‘his penis’ just weeks after being released from prison for sex crimes against minors.
Lexi-Rose Crawford, a biological man who now identifies as a woman, had previously been sentenced to four years in prison after having sex with an underage girl she met online.
He only started using a female name and female pronouns around January 2019, when he was released from prison, but within weeks he raped a vulnerable female friend.
At Bristol Crown Court, Crawford, 24, claimed to have fainted and said she did not remember the incident, but the jury found her guilty on Friday after less than two hours of deliberations. The former volunteer guitar tech stared straight ahead as guilty verdicts for rape and sexual assault were handed down. She was released on conditional bail until sentencing on May 10.
Crawford is believed to be sent to a men’s prison if she receives a prison sentence, despite lawyers and Judge Michael Longman referring to her as a miss throughout the four days of the trial.

The rape indictment also specified that ‘his penis’ was used during the rape in the indictment used in court.
Crawford appeared on the first day of his trial with long brown hair with blonde highlights, as well as a small mustache and beard before appearing clean shaven on the second day.
The victim, whose name cannot be identified for legal reasons, said Crawford visited her home in April 2019, where they played computer games.
Describing what happened next, the victim said: “(Crawford) wanted me to lie down next to him and then he tried to start hugging me, which I’m not comfortable with anyway. And then she started taking her clothes off of me, which I didn’t want, I kept saying that, like, ‘I don’t want.’
Despite her protests, the defendant began to rape the young victim. The victim said that she then rolled over and pretended to go to sleep to end the ordeal. Discussing why they didn’t try to fight Crawford, they said: ‘What could she have done without using physical contact from her to stop her? And then it could have been me who was wrong to use physical contact from her to stop her.
Prosecutor David Scutt suggested that Crawford’s claim of memory loss, which he had no supporting medical evidence, was a “convenient excuse”. Scutt said: ‘It seems you can remember the good things, but you can’t remember the bad things. Are you pretending you can’t remember?

At Bristol Crown Court (pictured), Crawford, 24, claimed to have fainted and said he had no memory of the incident.
Crawford, who inexplicably spoke with a slight American accent despite not having lived in the US, replied: ‘No.’
The prosecutor asked again: ‘What I am going to suggest is this: that you did those things and you know that you did them. Agree or disagree?’ Crawford replied: ‘I don’t agree.’ Mr Scutt said: ‘Is it just this, Miss Crawford, that you really can’t admit what happened and take full responsibility?’ Crawford responded: ‘That’s not the case.’
Only now can it be reported that Crawford was jailed for having sex with an underage teenager in 2017. Then, at 18, Crawford admitted to dating a 15-year-old girl, taking her to a secluded spot in the woods before tell him: ‘You’re going to get laid.
The case comes in the wake of Scottish trans rapist Isla Bryson, who last month was jailed for eight years for attacking two vulnerable female victims in their own homes while living as men.
