Slavisa Jokanovic is hoping to add French winger Yann Karamoh of Parma and Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen to his Sheffield United roster before the deadline.

The 31-year-old Olsen, who played in all Sweden matches at the last World Cup and appeared at the European Championship 2020, was on a rental basis with Everton last season.

It was not a pleasant experience, however, as his family was the victim of a vicious attack when their home in Cheshire was raided by men with knives.

Ols is hoping for a more solid experience in Yorkshire, where he will replace Aaron Ramsdale who joined Arsenal.

The Gunners brought in Ramsdale from the Blades 11 days ago in a £30 million deal to provide competition for No. 1 Bernd Leno.

United turned down two offers from Arsenal but eventually gave in to their approaches.

Jokanovic had also made inquiries about former Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero.

Karamoh, 23, was an option considered by Crystal Palace earlier in the window. The former France U21 international has had spells at Bordeaux and Inter Milan.
