A man in his 30s has died after falling off rocks in the sea on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia.

Emergency services were called to Brown’s Beach in Inneston National Park just after 11:00 AM on Saturday.

The man’s body was found about two hours later after a major search involving police, rangers, sea rescue boats and recreational fishing boats.

He did not respond in the water, SA police said.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a man survived after being found in the waters of Lake Alexandrina.

He and a friend took off in an inflatable canoe just north of Milang on Friday, but emergency services were alerted around 11:30 AM on Saturday when they did not return.

The 19-year-old was found floating in the water several hours later and was being treated for hypothermia, SA police said.

The second man, 31, continues to search for water, for whom the police are very concerned.

The canoe in which the men were located has been found and the search will resume on Sunday morning.
