Tragedy: Son of AFL legend takes his own life: ‘We are devastated’

The devastated family of a young Queensland man who died at the weekend said they feel a “deep sense of loss”.

Kye David Hart, 24, died on September 21. He was from the Sunshine Coast and attended Sunshine Beach State High School.

He is survived by his parents, Linda and David Hart. His father played AFL football for the West Coast Eagles in the 1980s and 1990s, where he was selected as an All Australian and won a championship in 1994.
