Leah, from Clyde North, was reported missing after he was separated from his friends outside a club in the CBD over the weekend.

The 22-year-old arrived in the city on Saturday or Sunday night and entered a nightclub with his friends, the Herald of the sun information.

He was seen behaving in a “quite out of character” manner before disappearing from outside the club.

His car had not been moved from where it was parked and it is understood he was last seen alive near Bourke Street.

Police said Leah entered the Yarra River near Banana Alley on Flinders Street about 3am on Monday, before her body was recovered on Tuesday afternoon.

The young man’s dear friends and family had desperately searched for businesses in the CBD and put out an appeal on social media before his body was found.
