The latest tragedy follows that of West Australian worker Shane Ramsey, 30, who was visiting the Indonesian island for a wedding and was riding a motorbike in Seminyak when he crashed into a roadside pole on Sunday 18 August.
He was not wearing a helmet and did not have travel insurance.
Mr Ramsey was rushed to hospital where he underwent brain surgery and was in a coma.
His family paid $70,000 for him to undergo emergency neurosurgery and arranged for a medical evacuation flight, believed to have cost around $150,000.
He was flown back to Perth but his heartbroken family later took him off life support when it became clear he would not recover from the horrific head injuries sustained in the crash.
