The wife of an Australian trader has revealed the cunning way she persuaded a customer to pay an overdue bill.
The merchant called and texted the customer, but never received a response, so he asked his wife for help.
He managed to get a response minutes after sending a message, acting as if she were his adventure partner. She paid that same afternoon.
The tactic left hundreds of people baffled after she shared the conversation on a popular Facebook group.
‘I called the guy and he didn’t answer, so I sent this text and he called me two minutes after sending it. They paid us the same afternoon haha,” the wife wrote.
The text sent at 1:34 p.m. read: ‘Hey, I had a great night with you. I hope we can do it again soon.’

After just two minutes, the customer responded by saying, “I’m getting paid now.” He will send remittances.’
The wife responded with a simple “Thank you.”
