A trafficker has been filmed attacking his neighbors with construction tools during a terrifying brawl in the underground parking garage of an apartment complex.

Qutaiba Mehmood, 26, and his roommate Ali Ahmed were returning to their unit in Punchbowl, west Sydney, Saturday afternoon at about 4:30 am, when they spotted their neighbor in the basement.

The 43-year-old asked the couple why they ‘stared’ at him before allegedly punching Mr Ahmed in the mouth, who then began filming the shocking scene.

In the footage, the man was reportedly seen swinging the spirit level – a construction tool used to determine if a surface is flat – aggressive with his neighbors.

A young girl shuddered as she watched the gory scene unfold, before Mr. Mehmood intervened and shouted ‘stop it’.

Police told Daily Mail Australia that the 26-year-old was then allegedly ‘punched in the face several times’ before allegedly being punched in the forearm and leg.

Mr. Mehmood attempted to intervene and was reportedly hit with the spirit level. He suffered a broken arm

The housemates, bruised and bloodied by the alleged altercation, eventually retreated to the stairwell to escape the man’s supposed rage.

Mr. Mehmood, a Pakistani blogger, underwent surgery to repair a broken wrist and arm.

“My arm was bleeding and I didn’t feel it,” he told 9 News.

“I lost consciousness and I lost a lot of blood.”

The alleged attacker was charged with assault resulting in actual bodily harm, habitual assault, assault, armed and deliberate crime, destroying or damaging property, and stalking / intimidating with intent to fear physical harm.

He pleaded not guilty to all charges, claimed he was acting in self-defense and appeared in Paramatta’s local court on Sunday.

According to 9 News, he was given parole after his brother handed over $ 10,000.

Mr. Mehmood was afraid to return home, but his neighbor was ordered to move and is forbidden to go within 100 meters of the complex.
