Five cyclists were taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in Townsville this morning.
The cyclists were hit at Mount Louisa around 5.45 am by a driver who drove away after the crash.
They were taken to the hospital with two women in their forties and fifties in serious condition with injuries to their legs and pelvis.
Two men, in their 30s and 50s, and one woman in her 50s, are in stable condition with back injuries or minor wounds.
The police are trying to track down the driver and think the car has been stolen.
