Toufik Hamze, Salim Hamze fatal shooting: Man charged

A 20-year-old man has been charged over the fatal shooting of a father and son in Sydney’s west last year.
Toufik Hamze (64), and Salim (18) were shot in the face outside their Guildford home just before 9 a.m. on October 20.
Salim Hamze, 18 and Toufik (64), were killed in a gunshot attack last year.
Salim was killed on the spot. Toufik was then taken to Westmead Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Grafton police arrested a man aged 20 with two counts each of murder and directed a criminal group that assisted in a crime.
They claim that the man was involved with planning and co-ordinating all the vehicles used in the shooting.
Salim was charged with firearms offences when he passed away.

His lawyer, Ahmed Dib, said after his client’s death that the 18-year-old had been “going down the wrong path” but his father “had nothing to do with it”.
After Police seized a Ford Mustang SUV and a Lexus SUV that had been burned to the ground as getaway vehicles.
