Tottenham Manor winger Solomon is in talks to join Leeds United on loan.

The Israel international has been cleared to leave Spurs after a difficult period with injuries since joining last summer as a free agent.

After featuring in five of the club’s first seven Premier League games under Ange Postecoglou, an injury in early October required surgery on the meniscus in his right knee and brought his campaign to a premature end.

Getafe had made enquiries but the 25-year-old has insisted on staying in England.

Former Shakhtar Donetsk and Fulham player Solomon will undergo a medical this weekend.

Leeds signed Largie Ramazani from Almeria on Friday but are keen to add more attacking options and see Solomon as someone who can make a big impact in the Championship.

Leeds are also looking to add a striker and a full-back before next week’s deadline.

After missing out on promotion following defeat to Southampton in last season’s play-off final, Daniel Farke has seen several of his top stars leave the club this summer.

Archie Gray joined Spurs in July, with fellow English youth international Charlie Creswell leaving for Toulouse later that month.

Georginio Rutter joined Brighton for a club-record £40million fee earlier this month, while last season’s top scorer Crysencio Summerville completed his biggest-ever move to West Ham.
