Spurs want to formally discuss the job with the Australian and if the talks are positive, the Premier League side hope to be able to offer him the job in the coming days.
Postecoglou is believed to be ready to take the job from Spurs and is now in a strong position to take the reins ahead of next season.
While the first weeks of Tottenham’s search for Antonio Conte’s long-term successor focused on Julian Nagelsmann and Arne Slot, the Parkhead boss is an integral part of Spurs’ list of potential candidates.
