Jamie Carragher: “The crowd won’t take Spurs anywhere tonight”
Once the whistle blows, (as a player) you are giving your all in that game. But what won’t happen is that the crowd won’t get them anywhere tonight. If the Spurs get anything out of this game, it will be their fault.

What atmosphere will we have?
Jamie Carragher: ‘Spurs fans shouldn’t want their team to win tonight’
I can’t wait for it to start just to see what the atmosphere is like. This isn’t unique, it’s happened before, but I don’t think a Spurs fan should want his team to win tonight.
I have grown up in a city with a similar rivalry and if the situation were reversed I think Arsenal fans would be exactly the same.
Should Spurs fans want to win?
Ange Postecoglou: “I will never understand if someone wants their team to lose”
I understand the rivalry, I was part of one of the biggest in the world in recent years with Celtic and Rangers. But I will never understand if someone wants their own team to lose.
Sport is not about that. That’s not what I love about the game. What I like most is competitiveness, challenging yourself to beat someone and come out successful. Anything outside of that has nothing to do with sport.
If other people want to treat it that way, enjoying other people’s misery, that’s not how I’ve lived my life and that’s not how I perceive my role. My role is to make this football club successful and I know that 100 per cent of Spurs fans want us to win, to be successful and to win trophies. Winning will help us bring joy to 100 percent of Spurs fans.
