Quakers Hill and Narromine stabbings: Two brutal attacks just 30 minutes apart leave a 28-year-old man and a 16-year-old teenager dying from their injuries

Two young men in New South Wales have died after being stabbed overnight.

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found with stab wounds in a residential area of Sydney, as well as the stabbing death of a teenager in the state’s west.

The attacks follow two other shocking knife attacks that rocked Sydney in recent weeks at Westfield Bondi Junction and a church in Wakeley.

On Friday night, a 28-year-old man was found in a critical condition on Narcissus Avenue in Quakers Hill, in Sydney’s northwest, about 8.30pm

He had suffered stab wounds to the chest and paramedics worked to save him, but he died on the way to hospital.

Detectives investigating the incident have asked anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage or information about what happened to contact them.

A crime scene has been set up on the residential street.

Meanwhile, a teenager died after a stabbing in the state’s west overnight.

Emergency services were called to a house in Nymagee Street, Narromine, at 9pm on Friday following reports of a stabbing.

Officers arrived and found a 16-year-old boy with stab wounds to the neck.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Dubbo Airport, where he died.

Following investigations, police arrested a 26-year-old man at a nearby house.

Police have established a crime scene and detectives have launched an investigation into the incident.
