However, Sports post understands that this will have no bearing on their ability to bring in Antonio Conte as manager, with Tottenham wanting Paratici regardless of what Conte decides about his future.
The pair teamed up when the Italian led Juventus between 2011 and 2014, leading the team to three Serie A titles.
Talks are underway between Conte and Tottenham, but the 51-year-old has reservations about the club’s ambition and needs to be convinced that Tottenham is fully committed to the battle for the biggest trophies.
Regardless of his decision, it seems almost certain that Paratici will arrive in north London and his role will largely be focused on recruiting players.

“Today we are mainly here to celebrate 11 years with Fabio,” said Agnelli.
“We won a lot, enjoyed happy moments, created great sports development projects, such as Juventus Women and the Under 23.
“I think of the many players he has brought here: I will name three: Tevez, Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo. My only regret? Van Persie…

“He’s a winner. Fabio was the protagonist in what was arguably the most difficult moment in football history: nothing was normal, and those who experienced it from the inside know it well.
“Together we came to the conclusion that maybe it was time to take another journey. And I can only say, in my name and in the name of all Juventus: thank you. It’s been 11 fantastic years.’
