Antonio Conte has labeled Hugo Lloris one of the most important goalkeepers in the world after entrusting his future to Tottenham.
Spurs confirmed this morning that World Cup winner Lloris has signed a new two-year contract that runs until 2024.
The deal extends his partnership with Spurs for 12 years after his arrival from Lyon in 2012.

Head coach Conte said: “It is important that our captain has extended his contract. Not just for a year, but for two.
“It means that the club and the whole environment trust him. He is a point of contact for the team and for the club. It was right to sign a two-year contract.
“He is an important goalkeeper in the world, he has won a lot with his national team, he is captain of France, captain of Tottenham.
“I think it was right to extend his contract with the club, it was very good to do this.”
