Tori Spelling is preparing to dispel “misconceptions” about her life amid the much-publicized collapse of her marriage.
On Friday it emerged that she filed for divorce from ex-husband Dean McDermott after a 10-month separation and 18-year marriage.
Two days before the news broke, the 50-year-old actress released a preview of her upcoming podcast. spelling error for iHeartRadio.
In the preview, a narrator promised to lift the curtain on her public image and reveal “the real woman behind Tori Spelling’s notorious headlines.”

The show will apparently see Tori confront “the missteps, mistakes and misconceptions” that have plagued her, and “reveal what’s real and what’s fake while shedding her Hollywood persona.”
Hours after the news of the divorce request became known, a source reported People that Spelilng and McDermott are in “a better place after everything came to a head.”
During the year he and Spelling were separated, McDermott completed a 40-day stint in rehab and subsequently spent time in a sober living home.

Tori, who was dressed casually in a black crop top, jeans, and Converse sneakers, took a moment to collect herself before finally leaving with her belongings.
The dramatic reunion occurs almost ten months after Tori and Dean’s separation, after 18 years of marriage.
The couple appeared to have reached a healthy point in their split in late February when they were spotted together at a park in Agoura Hills for the first time since they split.
Although the two didn’t seem to be smiling, they seemed somewhat casual in their demeanor, and both Tori and Dean relaxed against the metal railing at times.
It’s unclear what brought the two together after apparently spending months apart.
And just a week later, the exes further showed that they are handling their breakup maturely, after Tori, Dean and his new girlfriend Lily were spotted together at one of their children’s birthday parties at Dave & Busters in Los Angeles.
The actor later spoke about the blended family issue in an interview with Page sixsaying that his ex and his new partner “get along fabulously.”
Dean has been on great terms with Lily for six months and admitted that he introduced his new girlfriend to the five children he shares with Tori.
The couple shared their lives on screen in Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood in 2007, seen with their son Liam.
“I met the children, everything is going very well,” he added.

The actress and her children’s time in the new home came to an end in October after an armed neighbor barricaded himself in a nearby house and took a hostage.
Tori and her family were forced to quickly evacuate the home by a SWAT team responding to the terrifying standoff.
But things were looking up for the former primetime soap star after DailyMail.com exclusively reported earlier this week that she had moved into a $15,000-a-month rental home in Woodland Hills.
The San Fernando Valley property features 3,000 square feet of space and features five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The rental allows cats and dogs, although it’s unclear whether Tori will be allowed to bring some of the more exotic pets that Dean says made the end of their time together particularly miserable.
In his exclusive two-part interview with DailyMail.com in November, the actor revealed that he and Tori had not regularly shared a bedroom since 2017, due to her insistence on letting the animals stay in the room.
