Top-secret New York City restaurant Frog Club has made a shocking announcement reversing a policy they were well known for.

The restaurant, up until that point, had maintained a strict “no photography” rule inside to maintain exclusivity. Upon entering the restaurant, diners will be required to cover their front and rear cameras with a sticker.

Known as “the most New York club in New York,” Frog Club announced, as of Friday night, that they would now allow photography.

One rule when entering the Frog Club, and one way to be denied service, is to “be rude or inappropriate to our team, especially Tony” who is the doorman.

“Kermit says photos are now allowed at Frog Club,” his most recent post read, accompanied by photos of the Muppet puppet taking selfies.

Comments on the post shared mixed feelings about the new ad, some were all for it, but others thought it took away from the restaurant’s exclusivity.

One wrote: “I will only take photos if Kermit is present in them.”

“The kewl no longer exists,” said one, and “I liked the mystery,” wrote another.

Another was shocked and wrote: ‘HOLY F***’

The restaurant located in West Village; Frog Club not only became known for its exclusive no-photography rule, but also for its menu.

One in particular, Kiss the Chef, retails for $1,000 and was purchased by a male diner on its opening night, according to Eater New York.

The 68-seat restaurant is decorated entirely with frogs and offers a variety of American food with a twist, such as a burger on an English muffin with fries.

The restaurant is owned by renowned chef Liz Johnson, the mastermind behind iconic Los Angeles restaurant Horses.

Johnson was involved in a public and extremely messy “implosion” of her marriage to fellow chef Will Aghajanian.

The restaurant has many extravagant food and drink options, such as the Dirty Kermit, 'Tutti Frutti Spaghetti Sundae' and lobster-stuffed pierogis.

Amid divorce filings and abuse allegations, Johnson opened Frog Club earlier this year.

In addition to the “no photography” rule, the restaurant also imposed other rules. His Instagram account uploaded a list titled ‘Ways to Get 86’d’, another way of saying refused service.

The rules include not showing up for a reservation, taking pictures – even in the bathroom – and being rude, especially to the doorman Tony.

They also warn against any type of vandalism, blatant and dangerous levels of drunkenness, lying about your birthday or touching souvenirs.

The final rule, which coincides with the ‘Kiss the Chef’ menu option, is to not kiss the chef without his consent.
