Top pundits of Putin suggest Trump and Gabbard as potential candidates for the 2024 election.

Date:

Pundits on Russian state TV have been pressing for US regime change amid Democratic President Joe Biden’s support for Ukraine, as they talk about a 2024 ticket consisting of former President Donald Trump and former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.

The Daily Beast reported on Monday State TV host Yevgeny Popov recently declared that it was time to “help our partner Trump once again become president.”

Another analyst, Russian-American Malik Dudakov, suggested inviting Trump to visit the Ukrainian port city of Mariupol — once Russia wins that territory.

“The most vulgar technique that I can think of is to invite Trump – before announcing his candidacy for the presidency – to a future summit in liberated Mariupol,” Dudakov said Thursday night.

Dmitry Drobnitsky, another “American” on the committee, took it a step further, suggesting that former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard get an invite to Trump’s side.

Tulsi Gabbard would be great too. Maybe Trump will take her as vice president? Drobnitsky pondered, according to The Daily Beast.

Gabbard, who made waves during the 2016 race to back Democratic Socialist candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary over the more popular Hillary Clinton, has recently embraced the American political right.

She gave a keynote speech in February at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

She has recently become a staple of Russian state television, The Beast reports, and the Kremlin propaganda machine has referred to her as a “Russian Agent”.

Clinton, the former US Secretary of State, suggested in 2019 that the Russians were ‘ grooming ‘ Gabbard.

Gabbard later sued the former Democratic nominee for defamation.

Trump denied any coordination between his 2016 campaign and Russia — what Special Counsel Robert Mueller was investigating in the Russia probe — but made complementary statements about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s strategy in the run-up to the war.

Dudakov also noted that Russia’s interference in the upcoming US elections was in its early stages, but that more would be done after the invasion of Ukraine ended.

“When things calm down and the 2024 presidential race is on the agenda, there will be moments we can take advantage of,” he said.

He talked about Russia trying to make the United States more polarized.

With Europe, economic wars should take priority. With America, we must work to amplify divisions and – in view of our limited capabilities – to deepen polarization in American society,” Dudakov said.

He noted that “there is an appalling polarization of society in the United States, and very serious conflicts between Democrats and Republicans are constantly expanding.” I’ve already mentioned that America is a dying empire – and most empires haven’t been conquered, they’ve been destroyed from within.

“The same fate awaits America probably in the next decade,” Dudakov said. “That is why, when all operations are thawed, Russia may get a chance to play on that.”

The Associated Press reported Saturday Intelligence agencies have yet to find evidence that Putin ordered meddling in the election — as he did in 2016 and 2020 to help Trump — but he may see U.S. support for Ukraine as a reason to do so.
