According to boxing sceneFury will step back into the ring for the first time in six months when he fights on the Mayweather vs Deji undercard.
It was Mark Fury’s second fight in 13 months after missing the opportunity to meet his rival Paul on two separate occasions.
Fury and Paul were due to settle their rivalry at the Amalie Arena in Florida in December 2021, but Fury had to drop out with a broken rib and a chest infection.
Therefore, the fight was rescheduled for August 6 at Madison Square Garden. However, doubts about their fight began to creep in when the British… banned from traveling to America for their press conference.

Paul took to Twitter shortly afterwards to confirm that he was pulling the plug on their highly anticipated fight, claiming that Fury was “hiding” as he tried to finalize their deal.
Paul said, “Fury has received notice. MVP [Most Valuable Promotions] went out of his way to help him and his team. He was not interested and he literally went into hiding.
He withdrew for the second time in a row. For the 2nd time in a row I’m going to stand up & take on a new opponent at short notice. 6 AUG. MSG.’
Fury responded by sharing a statement on his Instagram. It read, “I am gutted and disappointed at the difficulties I have encountered entering the US.
“This is something that myself or my team could never have imagined would happen. This situation has been left to my lawyers, as denial of entry into a country is clearly a very serious problem and one that must then be resolved.
“I am convinced that this battle will take place when this problem is solved and we come to a solution. I want to make it clear that I will be fighting in a neutral country that both sides can enter. This could be any time, any place, anywhere.”
