Tom Holland is quietly furious that not a single fan recognized him while handing out his new non-alcoholic beer in New York City this week.

The Spider-Man actor, 28, had taken to the streets of Manhattan to transport cases of Bero to customers across the city, but no one approached him even once during his outing.

Joining Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday night, Tom watched footage of his day with the host, 50, who delighted in pointing out that the A-lister had completely flown under the radar.

“We were walking through Grand Central Station and I felt very insulted,” Tom admitted.

‘I’m Spider-Man! It’s New York City! Come on!’

Seth then argued that maybe people did recognize him, but just assumed he was a doppelgänger.

“That’s probably it,” Tom agreed.

Its new premium non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero, launched last week.

Currently, Bero offers three dynamic styles: Kingston Golden Pils, Edge Hill Hazy IPA and Noon Wheat.

“It’s been a really fun process for me,” Tom told Seth about launching the product, before adding, “It’s been very daunting.” It’s no secret, I don’t have much education.

“Some of the things we really focused on was creating a real foam,” Tom continued.

‘And the most important thing for me was the carbonation. I love a good fizzy beer. So for me, bringing that to a product that I love has been a real pleasure.”

Tom has openly spoken about his journey to sobriety and how he realized he was addicted to alcohol.

Last year, the actor appeared on Jay Shetty’s podcast, where he talked about how addicted he was after participating in a dry January.

“I didn’t wake up one day and say, ‘I’m going to stop drinking.’ I just, like a lot of Brits, had spent a December, Christmas, very, very drunk, I was on holiday, I was drinking a lot,” Tom began, adding that “He has always been able to drink a lot.”

“I decided to just call it quits in January, I wanted to just do dry January and the only thing I was thinking about was having a drink,” he continued.

‘It was all I could think about. I’d wake up thinking about it, look at the clock, ‘When is 12?’ And it really scared me,” Holland continued.

“I thought, ‘Wow, maybe I have a little alcohol,’ so I decided to punish myself and say I’ll do February too, I’ll take two months off.”

Tom maintained that if he could “get through two months off, then I could prove to myself that I don’t have a problem.”

It had been two months, but Tom said he “was still struggling a lot, like I couldn’t be sociable, I felt like I couldn’t go to the pub and have a lime soda, I couldn’t go out to dinner,” I was really struggling and I started to worry. a lot of having a problem with alcohol.

But Tom persevered and decided to spend another three months until his birthday on June 1st.

“I said to myself, if I can go six months without alcohol, then I can prove to myself that I don’t have a problem,” Tom said.

“When I got to June 1, I was happier than I had ever been in my life.”
