Tom Brady's guilty pleasure was during his playing days, revealed by Julian Edelman

Former Patriot Julian Edelman revealed one of Tom Brady’s guilty pleasures from his playing days in New England.

In a recent interview with PeopleEdelman detailed how serious his former quarterback was about his diets.

The retired wide receiver went into depth about how he encountered Brady’s strange lunchtime quirk when the Patriots tended to the same foot every night before games.

Although Brady stayed as disciplined as possible with his diet, Edelman revealed that the seven-time Super Bowl winner indulged in just one chicken wing very often.

“Tom always ate a chicken wing for his guilty pleasure before we went to bed,” Edelman said. “A single chicken wing.”

Shocking as it may seem, Edelman swore that was how Brady acted. He added that his former partner balanced his meals with 80 percent vegetables and grains and 20 percent lean meats and fish.

“He lives by that diet,” the former receiver said. ‘He practices what he preaches. We used to argue all the time about it.

While Brady chose his vices carefully, Edelman admitted to including hamburgers in his cheat meal.

Edelman joined the Patriots in 2009 and spent his 11-year career in Foxborough. He would be a part of three of the Patriots’ six championship teams, with Brady facilitating the offense.
