NFL insider Dianna Russini shed light on Tom Brady’s involvement in rebuilding the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason after becoming a minority owner.
After booking a spot in the Raider’s brass, Brady saw the team suffer another tragic season, which included a 4-13 record and the firing of head coach Antonio Pierce.
To welcome winning ways to Sin City, the Raiders hired former Buccaneers executive John Spytek as their general manager and Pete Carroll as their new head coach.
Both have Super Bowls on their resumes and connections to Brady before they were hired.
Speaking on the Ryen Russillo Podcast, Russini claimed that Brady was the captain of the ship in Vegas despite being a minority owner. The former ESPN reporter also revealed that Brady’s TB12 programs are being set up for players.
“Let’s start by making it very clear that Tom Brady runs everything in Vegas,” Russini said. “It’s all Tom Brady. I think there’s some rumors, some chatter – I’m telling you, it’s all Tom Brady there.

Brady took a minority stake last year and has led changes during the offseason
“I mean, even his own TB12 programs are being installed, so to speak. Alex Guerrero is out there. He will be working with a number of players.’
“He’s trying to do it and change the Raiders – and have a tremendous amount of influence on them. I’m sure you and I can probably debate whether that’s a good thing or not. My instinct is: yes, the man obviously knows how to win,” she added.
‘Why don’t you listen to him? I’d rather listen to Tom Brady shout anything than Mark Davis – no disrespect to Mark. Tom has a thought, an idea; he understands what it takes.”
While the two urgent and important vacancies have been filled, Brady and the Raiders have more work to do as free agency approaches.
Brady’s involvement and ownership came during his first year in a decade-long deal with Fox, after he signed a $375 million contract to become the network’s lead NFL analyst.
His stake in the franchise was once seen as a potential problem in his job as an analyst. Additionally, Brady’s first year on the stand was marred by poor reviews from fans and industry figures.
Nevertheless, Brady shot down rumors that he would leave the network and join the Raiders front office.
