Tom Brady is trying to “find the good” in his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen’s new boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, according to inside sources, who claim that he is adjusting to the new dynamic, but is still not very close friends with the handsome Brazilian.
Gisele, 43, seemingly confirmed her rumored romance with the jiu-jitsu instructor last week after they were spotted sharing a passionate kiss during a Valentine’s Day date in Miami.
They were claimed to have started dating in June, but the timeline of the relationship reportedly raised questions for Tom, who reportedly believes they have been together longer.
“Tom has been dating and his goal is to grow from his relationship with Gisele and move her to a place where they can co-parent,” a source told DailyMail.com exclusively.

“If you want people to think you’ve only been dating Joaquim since June, so be it, but they’ve been together longer and they’re not taking it easy. Tom has accepted that.
According to the source, Tom has no problems with Joaquim, who was first photographed vacationing in Costa Rica with Gisele in November 2022, just two weeks after their divorce was finalized.
“Tom and Joaquim are not friends, but Joaquim is with his kids, so Tom has to find the good in him and thinks he’s a good guy,” the source continued.
“If Joaquim ever becomes a father figure to his children, Tom will be able to adjust.”
The athlete is no stranger to co-parenting, having joined Gisele in late 2006, when he separated from Bridget Moynahan, with whom he has a son, John, 16.
“People seem to forget that Tom has a lot of practice with all of this from his time with Bridget,” they said. ‘They had a son, they went ahead and discovered him.
“Things are working out between him and Gisele and if Joaquim is going to be in his life forever then he will make everything work for everyone’s good, there is no other option.”
Tom and Gisele married in 2009 and share son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11. They divorced in October 2022 and Tom dated model Irina Shayk.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that Gisele and Joaquim, who have not yet confirmed that they are a couple, began dating in June 2023.

However, several sources close to Tom suggested that he is not convinced of the chronology of events, with one claiming that the Brazilian supermodel has been dating Joaquim since June 2021.
Another said: ‘They started out as friends. He was a great comfort to Gisele while she was going through her divorce. Their friendship turned romantic after the divorce.
In a raunchy video obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com last week, Gisele was seen hugging her new man on the street as they strolled through the exclusive neighborhood where she lives.
They arrived at what appeared to be Joaquim’s car, at which point the handsome martial arts teacher put an arm around Gisele, who was holding onto her dog’s leash.
The model reciprocated by placing herself around his neck as she leaned in to exchange several kisses before they parted ways.
Insiders claimed that Gisele and her new partner Joaquim started out as great friends before a romance blossomed.
Gisele previously shut down reports that she was dating Joaquim, but praised him for being a person she “trusts.”
Rumors of a relationship began to surface when Joaquim was photographed on vacation with Gisele and their children just two weeks after her divorce from Tom. They have also enjoyed trips to their native Brazil together.
Page Six was the first to report that the pair were an item, after sharing photos from a night out in November 2022 and calling Joaquim her ‘new man.’
But insiders have persistently attempted to quell the “love” talk, and the model herself deflected when asked about the alleged romance during an interview with Vanity Fair last March.
“I think at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure they’re going to try to link me to anything,” she told the rumor publication.
He went on to praise Joaquim and his brothers Pedro and Gui, who run the Valente Brothers Jiu-Jitsu studio that Gisele’s children attend.
Gisele continued: ‘I am very grateful to know them all, because not only have they helped me and my children, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially.
‘He is our teacher and, most importantly, he is a person I admire and trust. “It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that kind of energy.”
