Tom Brady cheers on Birmingham from SAFARI in Africa as his new side equalize in their first game of the new English football season

Tom Brady really takes his involvement with Birmingham seriously as he appeared to cheer on his new team while on safari in Africa.

Birmingham played the first game of the new season in the Premier League – the second tier of English football – and started with a 1-1 draw against Welsh side Swansea.

Brady, who announced his investment on Thursday, his 46th birthday, is currently vacationing in Africa and earlier on Saturday shared a video of himself with lions and tigers in the wild.

But a few hours later, the focus was firmly on Birmingham. After sharing the team roster on his Instagram story, he tweeted, “Way to finish!!!” to Siriki Dembele, who scored on the stroke of half-time to put Birmingham ahead.

Swansea finally spoiled the party, Jerry Yates leveling the scores with a goal in the 76th minute.

But hours later, the seven-time Super Bowl champion was focused on Birmingham City

Brady has been on safari for the past few days and this week shared a photo of his daughter Vivienne. who is with him for his birthday week.

He posted a video of lions and tigers resting by his jeep on Saturday morning and captioned it: ‘Excuse me, can you move a bit.

In another, he said, “I think I’m a little too close to be comfortable” as a lion walked nearby.

Earlier in the week he shared a selfie with elephants in the background as he ate his lunch.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner admitted he had a lot to learn about other football when his shock Birmingham announcement was made this week.

Brady said: “Birmingham City are an iconic club with so much history and passion and being part of the Blues is a real honor for me.

“BCFC is all about teamwork and determination and I am delighted to be working alongside the board, management and players to make our Second City club a club like no other.”

“I’ve been on some amazing teams in my day, and I can’t wait to apply my perspective to create that same success here in Birmingham.”
