Tom Brady appears to regret making his Netflix special after some of the pranks hurt his children.
Brady, 46, was criticized by several high-profile figures, including comedians, celebrities and former teammates, on a live Netflix show earlier this month.
Much of the vicious material contained jokes about his divorce from Gisele Bundchen, 43, after 13 years of marriage, something he admitted didn’t go over very well at home.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner, who shares Benjamin and Vivian with the Brazilian supermodel, revealed that some of the pranks ‘affected’ his children during an episode of ‘The pivot’ with Fred Taylor, Ryan Clark and Channing Crowder.
‘I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were very funny,” she said. ‘I didn’t like the way they affected my children.

“It was the bittersweet aspect of when you’re doing something that you think is one way and then you realize I wouldn’t do it again because of the way it affected the people I care about most in the world.
“In a way, going through this makes you a better parent because sometimes you’re naïve.”
The former quarterback’s children weren’t the only ones upset with the roast, and Bundchen is said to be furious at being the source of the relentless mockery.
According PeopleBundchen was angered by jokes about her former marriage to Brady during the special, saying she was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on the Sunday night roast show.”
“As always, (Bundchen’s) priority is supporting her children, who were affected by the irresponsible content that was aired,” the source continued.
Bundchen is said to be unimpressed by her divorce from Brady and her subsequent new relationship with jiu jitsu coach Joaquim Valente, being used as the butt of jokes.
In a shocking joke, comedian Nikki Glaser referenced Valente’s martial arts prowess, saying: ‘How much that would suck for Tom… Oh my God, just knowing that your ex-wife’s new boyfriend could beat your ass while eating her’s’.
Brady’s former teammate Drew Bledsoe, who withstood a fair amount of criticism about the quarterback who replaced him in New England, also pointed to divorce.
Brady and Bundchen share Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, while Brady is also father to Jack, 16, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan.
The NFL legend suggested some jokes didn’t go down too well at home.
Bundchen is understood to be furious with the jokes being made about her and Brady’s marriage.
Gisele has since been linked to her new “boyfriend,” jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente, who is said to more or less live in her Florida mansion.
The supermodel was referenced multiple times throughout Sunday’s Netflix special.
Insiders have claimed that the duo have struggled to find balance when it comes to raising their children.
“Obviously, man, you got very used to not being touched,” Bledsoe said, referring to Brady’s football career.
Then he added: “Just like the end of marriage.”
The joke drew a huge gasp from the audience at Kia Forum as an uncomfortable Brady raised his eyebrows and took swigs of two different drinks.
Kevin Hart, who opened the roast, also addressed Brady and Bundchen’s breakup, saying, “Sometimes you have to fuck with your coach,” the actor said. ‘Do you know who else fucked his coach? Giselle. “She fucked that karate guy.”
Brady and Bundchen, who share two children, son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, divorced on October 28, 2022, after 13 years of marriage.
Brady also shares his oldest son, Tom, 16, who is a rising high school football star in his own right, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
Moynahan shared several cryptic messages on social media after Brady came under fire for infamously dumping her while she was pregnant with Jack.
“Loyal people take things more personally because they would never have done that to you,” one quote read. She added “so true” in the caption.

Moynahan and Brady dated for about two years before splitting while she was pregnant.
Moynahan posted about loyalists after her relationship with Brady was mocked on TV.
Glaser destroyed the former Patriots quarterback for breaking up with the actress in 2006.
‘Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long, you retired, then you came back, then you retired, I get it. “It’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend,” Glaser joked.
‘To be fair, he didn’t know. He just thought she was getting fat.
Although jokes about Brady’s kids were off-limits, a source told Page Six that Bundchen was still “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family.”
Despite the apparent tension between the Patriots legend and his ex-wife, he wrote a touching tribute on Mother’s Day.
The legendary caller shared a sweet note for Mother’s Day, thanking several women in his life for the “love” they’ve shown him.
“Happy Mother’s Day to these kind, loving, compassionate, POWERFUL moms that I am lucky to have in my life,” the seven-time Super Bowl champion said. he captioned a series of Instagram snaps Sunday.
“Happy Mother’s Day to these kind, thoughtful, compassionate, POWERFUL moms,” she wrote.
The Instagram post also included several photos of her mother, Galynn, with her grandchildren.
“None of this would be possible without your love,” he added.
The Sex and the City actress was seen posing in a kitchen with her ex-boyfriend and her 16-year-old son, Jack.
The next snapshot showed the supermodel on horseback, along with her son Benjamín, 14, and her daughter Vivian, 11, whom she shares with her ex-husband.
Others who roasted the NFL legend on Sunday included host Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Randy Moss and Kim Kardashian.
