Team GB’s Deborah Kerr puts on a brilliant performance to qualify for the women’s 200m kayak final during her Tokyo Olympics DEBUT after finishing in second place in the semi-finals

Britain’s Deborah Kerr qualified for the women’s 200m kayak final after an impressive performance at Sea Forest Waterway.

The 23-year-old Scot finished second in her semifinal behind Hungarian Dora Lucz.

Kerr attacked in lane one from the start and was always confused.

The top four from each race reached the final later on Tuesday when New Zealand’s Lisa Carrington will bid for a hat-trick of Olympic titles.
