Team GB win silver in men’s rowing quadruple to secure Great Britain’s first day five medal at the Tokyo Olympics

Great Britain finally won a medal on the rowing waters on day five of the Olympics when they claimed silver in the men’s double sculls.

Harry Leask, Angus Groom, Tom Barras and Jack Beaumont were unpleasant in the difficult track one, but they overcame the odds to finish on the podium.

The British quartet was eliminated by the Netherlands, who took gold, while Australia finished third.
