Todd Chrisley is rejoicing after Donald Trump’s victory, believing the Republican president-elect could free him and his wife Julie from prison.
The reality TV couple was sentenced to 19 years behind bars after being convicted by a federal grand jury of bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion in 2022.
His daughter Savannah, 27, has fought tirelessly for reduced sentences and even took her efforts to the Republican National Convention in July in an attempt to gain Trump’s sympathy with the “ultimate goal” of getting him to release her imprisoned parents.
The former pageant queen, who starred in family reality show Chrisley Knows Best, has been “gloating” since Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday night, with her father, 55, convinced that maybe He doesn’t have to serve his entire sentence.

Savannah, 28, who supported Trump when speaking at the RNC in July, celebrated her victory on Instagram with a series of videos in which she said: “You all did it” (pictured).
‘Since they were convicted, he has spent every waking hour campaigning to free them and when he found the loophole through the RNC, he took advantage of it.
‘She went on that stage hoping to see her parents get out of jail and it’s probably going to happen. So, of course, she gloats. Everyone hopes she stops doing it.’
The podcast host celebrated Trump’s victory on Instagram, posting a series of videos in which she stated, “You all did it.”
The influential influencer was photographed wearing a sweatshirt with the legend “Make America Great Again” and a red baseball cap with the legend “USA.”
Users were quick to accuse her of supporting Trump in a desperate bid to free her imprisoned parents, an accusation that was first made after her speech at the Republican National Convention in July.
“You come from felons so it makes sense that you would vote for one… Are you expected to forgive your felon parents if you win?” one user wrote on Savannah’s post on Election Day.
Another posted: ‘She just wants Trump to forgive mom and dad. Good Christian?? Support an adulterous criminal?
A third agreed, writing: “I guess you hope Trump forgives your parents.”

Todd and Julie, 51, were convicted in July 2022 of conspiring to defraud community banks of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans.
They were also found guilty of tax evasion by hiding their earnings while displaying an extravagant lifestyle, and both went to prison in January 2023.
Their sentences were reduced in September 2023: Julie received five and a half years at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington, while Todd received 10 years in a federal prison in Pensacola.
In September, Julie’s appeal for a shorter prison sentence was denied after a judge declared she would continue serving seven years for bank fraud and tax evasion.
A source close to the family revealed at the time that her new sentence devastated Savannah, who was so sure her mother would be released that she had planned a party.
The source added that some family members fear that Savannah has jeopardized her parents’ case by “talking non-stop” about it.
Savannah has been vocal about the abhorrent conditions her parents allegedly faced behind bars.

Following Savannah’s speech, a source told DailyMail.com: ‘Savannah knew exactly what she was doing. She has realized that there is nothing she can do to get Todd out of prison and she is desperate.

Savannah ended her speech by stating that Trump’s only conviction is to “make America great again.”
