Today fans couldn’t help but notice a pretty annoying detail when NBC’s morning show released its annual Christmas card featuring all of the show’s most beloved hosts.
The holiday photo features Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager, as well as Dylan Dreyer and Hoda’s replacement, Craig Melvin.
Also in the group photo are presenters Sheinelle Jones, Peter Alexander, Carson Daly, Laura Jarrett and Willie Geist.
The ladies looked super glamorous in their dazzling sequin outfits, while Today’s male stars looked dapper in sharp suits, and dad-of-three Al, 70, opted for a red and green tartan jacket.
Willie, 49, was wearing a smart blue suit and was standing on the right side next to Dylan, 43, but Instagram users couldn’t help but notice something seemed off about his appearance.
In the comments section, one person asked, ‘Was Willie photoshopped?’ to which someone else replied: ‘Absolutely. ha ha ha.’
A third person wrote: “I said the same thing, Willie was photoshopped!” while another asked: ‘Why is Willie photoshopped?’
A different person commented: ‘@williegeist was unavailable? Looks like they added it at the end haha,’ and another joked: ‘Willie was a cardboard cutout!’
Today, fans have noticed something quite distracting in the annual Christmas photo featuring the morning show hosts.
One person asked why Willie Geist had been Photoshopped into the holiday sign photo.
Someone else asked the same question about Willie, a father of two, who is located on the right side.
Another Instagram user mocked the edit and asked if Willie wasn’t available that day.
Someone else added: ‘Willie Geist was photoshopped in the last photo? Curious fans want to know…’ and another asked: ‘I think Willie is in a screenshot in (sic).’
In a behind-the-scenes video, which was shared on the official Today Instagram page, father-of-two Willie was nowhere to be seen as the hosts lined up to take their official vacation photo.
The hosts were also filmed introducing themselves and revealing who they thought would bring the most Christmas spirit this year.
While Hoda, 60, said she would be co-hosting Jenna, 42, and showed off some cool dance moves, neither of the TV stars mentioned Willie, nor did he appear in the pre-taped segment.
However, fans still loved BTS’s content as one person commented: ‘Amazing team! Happy holidays guys!!!’ while another said: ‘Hell yeah! I love my NBC Peeps!!!’
Someone else wrote: ‘You guys look like you’re having so much fun on the boat! Keep smiling and let your light shine,’ and a fourth person added: ‘You guys are so cute!’
Sadly, this will be Hoda’s last year celebrating Christmas with her NBC colleagues, as the mother of two will film her final show on Friday, January 10 after confirming in September that she had made the decision to step down.
On November 14, it was revealed live that Craig, 45, would officially replace Hoda with Savannah, 52, announcing the news.
In a behind-the-scenes montage video, Willie is noticeably absent on the right side as the presenters line up for the photo.
Last month, it was confirmed live that Craig Melvin would officially replace Hoda Kotb when she leaves in January.

Looking excited, Craig then gave a speech, saying, “I’m beyond excited and grateful, and just, you know, I had a lot of conversations yesterday with a lot of people that mean a lot to me, and I want to obviously thank NBC and the people here.” who has deemed me worthy.
