Inc. announced Twitter Announced the launch of a new feature that displays the number of times users have added tweets to their bookmarks.
This feature is intended to help evaluate the popularity of a Tweet, along with other statistics that Twitter displays such as the number of retweets and the number of replies to the Tweet.
Only on iOS
In the context, the company said that starting Thursday, March 16, “you will be able to see the number of times any tweet was added to bookmarks, within the tweet details page.”
We love Bookmarks for saving Tweets to revisit later. Starting today on iOS, you’ll now see the total number of times a Tweet has been bookmarked on Tweet details.

It also noted that the feature is currently only available in the Twitter application for iOS, but it promised to launch the same feature for other platforms without specifying a date for that.
I also mentioned on the technical support page for the new feature that the bookmark counter will appear for all tweets without exception, stressing that the bookmarks will remain confidential, meaning that users cannot know who added a specific tweet to their bookmarks, unlike the number of likes, quotes, and retweets. By clicking on it, you can see the accounts that interacted with the tweet.
Big changes
Recall that the company Twitter It had been making major changes to the service since its acquisition by Elon Musk and taking over as CEO.
Among the most prominent things that Musk did was the launch of the paid “Twitter Blue” service, which provides subscribers with exclusive features that include the ability to edit tweets, a folder for bookmarks, the ability to change the application icon and design, a tab to view the most popular articles, a comfortable reading mode, viewing fewer ads, and the possibility Writing tweets up to 4,000 characters long, in addition to a host of other features.
