To commemorate their 12th wedding anniversary, William and Kate Middleton share a heartwarming, previously unseen photo.

Date:

The Prince and Princess of Wales today shared a heartwarming new photo from a family day at Sandringham to mark their 12th year of marriage.

Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot on April 29, 2011 in Westminster Abbey, in a service watched by 36.7 million people worldwide.

Now 12 years later, with three young children, the couple is more in love than ever in a cute outside shot posted to their social media accounts.

In the photo, which was taken by environmental photographer Matt Porteous, the royal couple are seen cycling through the Norfolk countryside with their arms around each other.

The image is from a series shared around Mother’s Day and Christmas 2022 – and now it’s the fourth image we’ve seen from that particular day.

Mother’s Day photos captured Kate having a good time with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – with Prince William nowhere to be seen.

But the future king is seen in the newly unveiled photo, smiling with his arm around his wife as they enjoy a bike ride without the kids.

The newly released photo is the fourth we’ve seen since this Family Day, and the Wills family shared the first for their Christmas card last year.

The family was photographed walking hand in hand across the Sandringham estate on a sunny day, and the royals dressed for the warm weather in casual denim and matching blues.

Kate and William turned to their favorite – and most trusted – photographer Matt Porteous for the shoot, who offered a rare and intimate look at family life.
