Artists TLC and Shaggy announced Monday that they will embark on the “How Summer Nights Tour 2023.”
Kicking off June 1 at Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Pelham, Alabama, the tour will feature performances by special guests En Vogue and Sean Kingston.
The 26-city tour of the ’90s chart-toppers is scheduled to include stops in the US and Canada. It will hit Miami, Toronto, Phoenix and other cities before ending in Calgary, Alberta, in July.
“Hot Summer Nights” includes a Northwell Health concert at Jones Beach Theater on June 13 in Wantagh, NY, and a show on June 10 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ
A presale of tickets for the tour begins on Tuesday and will be followed by a general sale on Friday.
According to tour promoter Live Nation, TLC is confirmed to perform the hits “Waterfalls,” “No Scrubs,” “Unpretty,” and “Creep.” Shaggy will perform the songs “It Wasn’t Me”, “Boombastic” and “Angel” for the co-headlining concert.
At Vogue, now made up of original members Terry Ellis, Cindy Heron and longtime member Rhona Bennett, it will serve dishes “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It)” and “Free Your Mind” at most the dates. . Last year, the trio competed on “The Masked Singer” and joined New Kids on the Block, Salt-N-Pepa and Rick Astley on the Mixtape Tour.
TLC creators Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas previously joined Flo Rida and Nelly in 2019 for an amphitheater tour.
The Atlanta-based duo’s upcoming documentary, “TLC Forever,” will premiere June 3 on Lifetime.
