Timothée Chalamet was spotted on the set of Marty Supreme in Midtown Manhattan this week.

The Wonka actor, 28, has back-to-back filmed period pieces that have had him inhabiting the 1950s and 1960s for months.

In Marty Supreme, he plays 1950s ping pong phenom Marty Reisman, who won two US men’s singles ping pong championships in 1958 and 1960.

Photos from the set show Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend wearing 50s-style pants, a button-down shirt, and a black jacket.

The film also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler the Creator and Fran Drescher.

The Call Me By My Name star carried a black doctor-style bag in the photos and hopped into a vintage taxi as cameras rolled.

Before beginning production on Marty Supreme, the New York native took on the role of Bob Dylan in the biopic A Complete Unknown, which tells the story of a young Bob Dylan in the 1960s.

That film co-stars Edward Norton and Elle Fanning.

The sighting comes after a Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest in Washington Square Park went viral after the actor performed.

Chalamet caused chaos among screaming fans in lower Manhattan on Sunday by unexpectedly showing up for his own stunt contest.

Flanked by bodyguards, the actor posed for photos with his curly-haired doubles, some of whom had dressed as their characters, including Willy Wonka and Dune star Paul Atreides.

Sometimes admirers accidentally focused their attention on the doubles, apparently thinking they were face to face with the real Chalamet.

The frenetic event, advertised on flyers throughout New York, was one of several lookalike contests organized by YouTube creator Anthony Po.

As word spread on social media, thousands of people RSVPed to the event, which promised $50 to the winner.

“It started as a silly joke and now it’s turned into chaos,” said Paige Nguyen, Po’s producer.

Witnesses and competitors told DailyMail.com that the scenes that unfolded were “insane.”

“It was really fun, like a show,” said viewer Megan Hattie Stahl, 33.

‘The people who filmed it and the people who reacted to the police became another layer of the show. “It was just absurd.”

Competitor Noah Wilde, 23, said the contest was ranked by public voting, with people shouting for their favorite Chalamet.
