A mother of two who rose to fame on TikTok has tragically passed away at the age of 30 after months of crippling migraines.
Jehane Thomas, from Doncaster, had more than 66,700 followers on the video-sharing platform, where she uploaded videos about her daily life, such as preparing her children’s lunches and sharing purchases on the street.
According to loved ones of the social media star, his death on Friday was “totally unexpected” and has left his family “heartbroken”.
In recent months, Jehana had been documenting her health issues on TikTok, explaining how she had recently been diagnosed with optic neuritis.
The extremely painful condition is caused by inflammation of the optic nerve, which carries messages from the eye to the brain.
Jehane Thomas, from Doncaster, known for sharing wholesome family content on the social media platform, died on Friday after complaining of migraines and bouts of illness for months, Yorkshire Live reported.
Jehane had been in and out of the hospital in recent weeks, updating her followers on her treatment.
In his latest video on TikTokwhich was shared four days ago, Jehane was in the hospital, waiting to be operated on for her condition.
‘I can’t lift my head without wanting to get sick and I can’t walk, I need to be wheeled everywhere. That’s how strong this pain is,” the mother wrote in the caption of the video.
Jehane had checked into A&E and was awaiting surgery at the time she shot the video.
She had just been released from a week-long hospital stay when what she called the pressure migraines caused by her condition returned, forcing her to return to the hospital.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help finance the funeral of the mother of two, who is survived by her sons Isaac, three, and Elijah, one, raising £9,585 so far.
Jehane’s best friend, Alyx Reast, has taken tributes online, writing: “Jehane Thomas was a 30-year-old mother of two when she passed away suddenly on 03/17/2023.”
“Despite suffering from migraines and bouts of illness for several months, his passing was totally unexpected and we are all absolutely heartbroken.
‘Their two children have been left without their mother… Jehane: I promised that I would do what I could for those children, so that is what I promise to do. I love you.’

In her latest TikTok video, which was shared four days ago, Jehane was in the hospital, waiting to be operated on for her condition.
“You are everything good in the world, I will miss you every day,” he added on TikTok.
On her friend’s crowdfunding page, she added: “Nothing will bring the children back to their mother, but we hope it brings some relief to their family, knowing how loved and supported they are.”
Jehane’s fans and friends paid their respects on social media over the weekend.
This is heartbreaking. Very sorry. Sending his children and family lots of love and strength,” she added.
‘I’m actually crying. I can’t believe how this has happened! Devastating,’ said another.
‘How lucky I am to have met such a beautiful, sweet, caring and funny girl. I will miss you so much, never fire me, just see you later beautiful girl,” wrote one.





Friends and supporters have been paying their respects after Jehane’s death was announced, with her best friend Alyx leading the tributes.
Life is so incredibly cruel. I had the biggest shock reading this absolutely heartbreaking. Keep your loved ones close, sleep well beautiful,’ said one.
Jehane opened up about her condition on social media, revealing in a post shared on March 5, “I was diagnosed with optic neuritis a few months ago after almost two years of being told my migraines were stress related.”
“Then they thought I had MS, which has been ruled out (for now), but now the pressure in my head literally takes me off my feet.”
In the same post, she revealed that she could count on the support of her parents to help with childcare when her condition prevented her from caring for her children on her own.
‘I want to start my thanks by saying a big thank you to my mom and dad who are always there to help me with the kids.
“I hate getting my feet wiped with a migraine or sickness, but they will always be the first to take the kids away for a few hours and I’m so grateful to have both of them,” she said.
