Eva Evansa TikTok influencer and budding writer/director, has died.
He club rat The creator’s sister, Lila Joy, announced Evans’ death on Sunday at a tribute in instagramsharing an old photo of his late brother smiling and dancing.
“Yesterday my family received the news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, loving and fun Eva, my beautiful sister, has died,” he wrote.
“After 24 hours, I’m still in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how incredible and difficult it will be to process this news,” Joy added.
The cause of death was not revealed, but Joy announced a celebration of life to be held Tuesday in lower Manhattan.

“Yesterday my family received the news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, loving and fun Eva, my beautiful sister, has died,” Joy wrote in a tribute on Instagram on Sunday.
“I would like to have Eva here now to refer me because she would have better words and would know how to say what I don’t,” he continued.
Joy concluded, “I’ll keep it brief so we can plan the next few days, but you’ll hear a lot more from me about how much Eva means to me and how different the world will be without her.” ‘
The comments section was filled with an outpouring of love and support from those who knew Evans.
“The loss is unfathomable, for those of us who were lucky enough to have known her brilliance and goodness, but also for the world, which is not the place it should be without her,” one person wrote.
Another added: “I’m so sorry for your loss.” She was unique. Her art and her stories brought joy and humor to many of us New Yorkers during difficult times. We will miss this icon.’
