Joe Exotic’s ex John Finlay has detailed finding ‘deep love’ with a woman and marrying his ‘soul mate’ wife.
The 37-year-old rose to fame on Netflix’s Tiger King in 2020, where he married Exotic, 58, real name Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, and the late Travis Maldonado in a triple ceremony in 2014.
Thinking back to his previous marriage and now finding love with his ‘rock’ wife Stormey, 32, John claimed that his marriage to Exotic was ‘fake’ and that his new relationship has a ‘totally different feel’.

John and Stormey live on a farm in Oklahoma after meeting the proud owners of a house cat via a dating app in April 2019.
To talk with The sun, he said, “My wedding was the happiest day of my life. It kept getting delayed because of the pandemic, so we ended up saying “fuck it” and headed to the courthouse. I didn’t want cameras there because it was just for us.
‘I’ve never felt that way about anyone. I had no idea what it’s like to be married to your rock, your soul mate, the person you spend every minute of the day with. Stormey completes me and we are deeply in love. ‘
He added that he told Stormey ‘all’ about his past and admitted that he was ‘nervous’ that she would ‘run away screaming’.

John then slammed his earlier triple ceremony against Exotic and the late Travis in 2014, claiming it was a ‘fake’ and a ‘publicity stunt’. He has previously claimed that he was ‘never legally married’ to the duo.
He added to the publication: ‘My fake wedding didn’t feel right at all. This is a completely different feeling. The fake was actually a publicity stunt so Joe could get his own reality TV series. This one was real. ‘
During the fateful ceremony, Exotic, John and Travis, who tragically died of a self-inflicted shot in October 2017, were all dressed in bright pink shirts with corsages and black pants.
John later left the zoo and after conceiving a female colleague, Exotic welcomed their child and spent three years together.
Elsewhere during the new interview, John, who previously battled a meth addiction, said he is now “happier” and “healthier” after dumping drugs. He revealed last year that he had been sober for six years.

The 37-year-old said he is now looking to erase tattoos that document his past relationship and marriage to Exotic, although he “ doesn’t have the money ” to undergo the $ 125-per-hour procedure.
John was able to cover up an earlier ink that reads ‘Privately owned Joe Exotic’ with a bull’s head.
Exotic was convicted on 17 federal charges of animal cruelty and two murder attempts for hire in his plot to murder arch-nemesis and Big Cat Rescue owner, Carole Baskin, in 2019 – and sentenced to 22 years in prison. He’s currently trying to push for a presidential pardon, this time from Joe Biden.
He recently praised his husband Dillon Passage, 26, whom he married in 2017, for being ‘by him’ (despite claims that Dillon had filed for divorce) and ‘millions of fans around the world who kept my name alive in the name of righteousness’.
John admitted that Exotic has not tried to ‘contact him’ and that everyone should just ‘live their own life’.

In April 2020, John left fans in shock in a bonus episode to Netflix’s hit documentary Tiger King.
In the show’s special episode, the stars of the program were interviewed about their lives since the documentary, which portrayed the wild life of big cat owners in the US.
The former husband of the show’s incarcerated antagonist showed off an incredible makeover as he showed off his new dentures – after losing his teeth in the tragic throws of meth addiction, as well as losing his shirtless appearance.
The episode hosted by Joel McHale saw stars talk to the show’s stars about life after Tiger King, after the documentary became a surprise hit.
Married: Only recently did Exotic praise his husband Dillon, 26, whom he married in 2017 for ‘standing with him’ (despite claims that Dillon had filed for divorce)
Joel marveled at John’s transformation after the former addict grumbled about his portrayal on the show. He said he was made to look like “a drugged hillbilly.”
He proudly revealed on the episode that he has been sober for six years, showing off his new teeth and long beard.
Speaking of changing his life, John said after the show, “I used to have a lot of pent-up negative thoughts and a bad look about myself. I just stopped thinking about the past and the negative things that happened to me …
“It’s time to really think about the kids and my future and all, and use this thing for something good, not just be,” Hey, I’ve got a personal gain now. It’s all about me. ” It’s not all about me. It’s also about other people. ‘
