Tiger King star Joe Exotic is in talks with US broadcaster to host his own radio show from prison while serving a 22-year sentence
He has always been desperate for fame and eventually found himself known around the world while incarcerated and serving his 22-year sentence.
And now Joe ‘Exotic’ Maldonado-Passage, 57, is in talks with an American broadcaster to host his own radio show from prison, after being approached with the idea following his star role in Netflix docuseries Tiger King.
The former owner of the GW Exotic Animal Park recently moved to a Texas prison after being convicted in April 2019 of 17 reports of animal cruelty and conspiracy to kill Carole Baskin, 58.

Joe’s husband Dillon Passage, who married the former zookeeper in 2017, told it Subway: “This radio station here in the US wants him to have his own radio show from prison.
“So we’ll see what happens with that. It is quite amazing. ‘
Speaking about Joe’s response to Tiger King’s monumental success, Dillon said, “I know he absolutely loves the attention. He has lots of great feedback, lots of letters, lots of emails. ‘
Dillon also revealed that Joe has tested negative for coronavirus and that their usual five phone calls per day have been cut off because the prisoners are further separated during the pandemic.

Married: Joe’s husband Dillon Passage, who married the former zookeeper in 2017, told Metro, “This radio station here in the US wants him to have his own radio show from prison.”
The revelation about the possible radio show comes a week after President Donald Trump spoke about the long term imprisonment of Joe Exotic.
He told one New York Post reporter he would “investigate” may pardon the openly gay polygamist, who ran for president in 2016 and for Oklahoma Governor in 2018.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Netflix released the Tiger King bonus episode entitled ‘The Tiger King and I’, which reunited eight people in the No. 1 docuseries.
The biggest reveal was when Joe Exotic TV producer Rick Kirkham told host Joel McHale that former owner of GW Exotic Animal Park Joe ‘Exotic’ Maldonado-Passage is actually ‘terrified of big cats.’
