Tiffany Haddish was promoting her upcoming book I Curse You With Joy over the weekend, where she admitted to having a throwaway social media account.
The 44-year-old comedian was promoting her new book at the Los Angeles Times Book Festival on Sunday.
She was talking about how people like to talk about her on the internet and added: “She made me a fake page and now I’m talking shit.”
‘Then people show me how to talk about myself. I don’t know why they talk about me so much, but it’s okay. I like to talk about you too,’ she joked.
‘And then the Internet came along and people were free to talk about whatever they wanted. And now I wish I were illiterate again,” she joked.

When asked if she had a ‘Finsta,’ meaning a fake Instagram, Haddish acknowledged, “I don’t know anything about fake Instagram, but I definitely have a fake Twitter.” I mean a fake X, a fake X.
He did not reveal any further details about his fake X/Twitter account, or how long he had it.
This also comes after she opened up about her DUI arrest in November 2023, revealing to People Since then she has remained celibate and sober.
‘I’m very sober. I haven’t had anything to drink since then. “When I sit back and look at my life, everything crazy that has happened is because someone or I had alcohol in their system,” he admitted.
‘This is my challenge to the people. Stop drinking for six months and watch your life change,” she said.
‘You will get back the body that was taken from you, you will see that your relationships will improve and you will stop dealing with people you don’t need to deal with. My problem was that I woke up next to ugly men,” she admitted.
He added that being sober and celibate “go hand in hand,” stating: “With alcohol [my mind] it would just be like, “You’re horny, let’s do this.”

Now that she’s sober, she adds, “I’m like, ‘No, no,'” though she admitted that she “dated several guys” who “know each other.”
Haddish added that these big changes in her life also led her to “cut a lot of people” out of her life.
‘I’m happy. “I’m really happy,” Haddish admitted in the interview.
